Terms of use

Using the tools

Brainoxa Image Tools is free to use for personal and commercial images, within a limit of 10 images a day per browser. You are responsible for having the right to use the images you process. Do not use the tools for anything unlawful.

We may change, limit or stop any part of the service. The daily limit may change, and a paid option may be added later.

Keep your originals

Most conversions are lossy, and the tools produce new files rather than editing yours in place. Check each result before you rely on it and keep your original files. The tools are provided as they are, without a promise that any result suits a particular purpose or meets a particular upload rule.

Removing metadata

The tools can remove location, camera details and Content Credentials from files, and the result may no longer show where an image came from. Use this to protect your privacy and shrink files. Do not use it to misrepresent how an image was made, for example by presenting a generated or edited image as an unedited photograph, or to avoid a disclosure that a platform or the law requires.

No warranty and limits on liability

The service is provided without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for lost files, corrupted output, lost data or indirect losses that result from using it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited.

The software and the site

The design, text and code of the site belong to their owners. The open-source libraries it uses stay under their own licences. Your images remain yours.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The date at the bottom of the page shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept it. Questions go to hello@brainoxa.com.
